Vice President/General Manager
Todd Brown is the Vice President & General Manager of FOX5 in Las Vegas. He is responsible for overseeing all of the Las Vegas station operations including all News and Entertainment Programming as well as the market leader in revenue generation– a station known to be a leader in the market and broadcasting industry for unconventional and unique marketing campaigns.
For over 30 years, Brown has successfully created, consulted and managed marketing campaigns for clients through numerous radio, television and even his own advertising agency. Prior to joining FOX5 in 2002, Brown spent 18 years in sales and management in Chicago, Fresno, CA and Bakersfield, CA and even started his own successful advertising agency and direct mail company.
Brown, a graduate of Southern Illinois University, began his sales and marketing career at WJZQ-FM/WLIP-AM in Chicago before moving to Fresno, CA as an Account Executive at KFIG-FM. In 1987, Brown started his own advertising agency and direct mail company named "The Couponeer." The agency was responsible for innovative marketing concepts for clients such as TCBY California franchises and National Bowhunter magazine. Brown and partners sold the company after four successful years.
Between 1991 and 1994, Brown was General Manager of KKBB-FM radio in Bakersfield, California and created a successful morning show network in 8 west coast radio markets that led to a major turn-around for the station and the network positioning the station to be successfully sold. Brown then returned to Fresno to work at KJEO-TV, the CBS affiliate as a Senior Account Executive then as Local Sales Manager and General Sales Manager of KSEE-TV, the NBC television affiliate.
Brown and his wife, Amanda a Las Vegas real estate agent, have a daughter Emma (12) as well as son Nick (28), daughter Alexis (26) and son, Chase (19) also have two wonderful grandkids Harlow (6) and Kingston (3).
